  Dr. Olp is truly the best thing about Bigger Road Veterinary Clinic, and this review is all for her. She's attentive and warm, and she has no problem repeating herself if you get overwhelmed when hearing the details of your pet's diagnosis. During exams, you'll often find that she meets your pet where they are comfortable, even if that means on the floor. The way she examines is neat in that she loves on your pet in such a way that they -- and sometimes you -- don't even realize that she's checking lymph nodes, muscle tone, knee strength, etc. I think this is so important, and I admire and appreciate how she cares for my pets. Their comfort is always key. I've never felt rushed through an appointment with Dr. Olp, and I've never felt uncertain about any of her findings. She's very thorough, and always has an answer or a plan for the next step. I've also never left an appointment without knowing that "no question is too small" if something comes up once home. And if you do have a follow-up question, she will be the one to personally call you. Again, this is all very important and admirable. If you want the best of the best, believe that Dr. Olp is it. If it weren't for moving, she'd be our vet forever! Thanks for all that you do, Dr. Olp!

  I would be giving a dishonest review if I gave this veterinarian clinic more than one star. It's not saying that I hadn't previously had experiences before this interaction that were very usual and average. I'll focus on a grooming appointment gone wrong and the following 2 interactions. The following 2 interactions were setting an appointment to remove staples and the actual appointment for staple removal. The main point is that they cut my dogs throat during grooming. They paraded the young woman out for a slightly emotional and seemingly unprepared encounter with me, the owner of the dog whos throat she had recently mutilated to needing 5 staples that were necessary to contain her insides from falling free or bleeding to death. In the awkwardly brief encounter, the technician let it slip that it was my dog's unusually thin skin that was to blame for the hole. She, most definitely, was not the person to handle this interaction and even though I have had to go through 3 other subsequent interactions afterwords, there has been no attempt at any inquiry into my pride and joy's well being. It was business as usual immediately after the first underwhelming interaction that I previously described. I have received several follow up emails containing commercials, promotions and future appointment reminders, but nothing else.

  Today was my first time going to this vet. They were very nice and accommodating to my dog. My dog is very scary and they tried their best to make her more comfortable! They gave her treats and were very nice to her! I will be going back!

  AWESOME:):) we have a lab puppy and brought him here. They are so nice and pricing is reasonable!! I'm sure our puppy will be so happy to be back on his next visit!
